Description
 
This shawl is simply beautiful!  Handwoven on the backstrap loom by the women of Threads of Hope cooperative in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.  This will make a wonderful finishing touch to your special outfit!  It features Mayan emblems woven in a silk-like thread just the way these women saw their mothers and grandmothers weave them.  The shawl measures approximately 21 inches wide and 70 inches long.
