| Stunning colors and expert brocade are the hallmarks of these Guatemala clergy stoles. They are the creations of the Mayan Hands Nahuala weavers. No two are the same but each Guatemala clergy stole is equally beautiful. They measure approximately 6 inches wide and 110 inches long.
About 25 women from a village in Nahuala have joined their leader, Micaela, years ago to learn how to read and write. After they completed their three year program, they decided to continue working together in an income producing project. This group is among the best of all the weavers involved with Mayan Hands. Their exquisitely brocaded items, like these Guatemla clergy stoles, are truly works of art.
