Description
 
This is a great sized Guatemalan bag with a zipper to help keep it closed. Tje fabric was created on the backstrap loom and then assembled into this great bag. It is lined with black fabric and has a zippered pocket inside. This Guatemalan bag measures approximately 11 inches wide and 11 inches tall and is approximately 4 inches wide. The strap is adjustable.

This bag is woven by a cooperative in San Juan Guatemala. Sixteen Tz'utujil Maya women weave using Ikat, an ancient labor intensive technique of hand tying and dying threads in elaborate patterns. Made by a Maya Tradtions cooperative.
