These checkbook covers or check purses are great for keeping track of your bank information. They are made of the same thick cloth as our other Children of the World items. These are woven on a small treadle loom and are sure to draw admiring glances. It measures 3.5 inches by 7 inches closed. This is the perfect gift for both men and women. Each one is a unique combination of colors but is similar to the one pictured with three children holding hands.

Mayan Hands works with two groups of women in Santiago Atitlan. About 25 of them weave these and other Children of the World products on small treadle looms. This opportunity has provided much needed work in Santiago Atitlan which is one of the poorest areas in Guatemala.
