This delightful Guatemalan Christmas nativity is a small and delightful Christmas decoration. It contains Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, an angel and three animals! They are created from clay that has been dug from river beds in Chenaulta, Guatemala. The firing process involved building a fire from pine park. The nativities are then placed on a grate over the fire and covered with grass for 2-3 hours. You might find an occasional small black spot which is part of the firing process and helps to make each piece unique. These are a best seller at Christmas!
