These cutting boards are done in a slightly rustic style. The Guatemalan cutting boards are made from teak wook from a Rainforest Alliance certified plantation in Rio Dulce. The wood is recovered sustainable wood from the thinning of the forest. The beautiful ranges in colors are due to the "youth" of the wood. The older the teak the darker it is. This is an effort from a training project called "Carpenters without Borders" to produce a product geared to the U.S. and European market. We are not certain how easily we can obtain these boards. When all three are available they comes as:
  • Rectangular Cutting Board (13.5" x 9.5")
  • Fish Cutting Board (15.5" x 9.5")
  • Baguette Cutting Board (19.5" x 5.5")
